[Happy Farm] Korean DMZ Honey & Yuja Tea

Today, we introduce… Happy Farm’s DMZ Honey & Yuja Tea Marmalade

Yes, this is referring to Korea’s Demilitarized Zone (38th parallel).

What people don’t know is that the DMZ - over the last half century - has (unintentionally) become an incredibly bio-diverse natural reserve.

Since no humans are allowed into this zone, it’s become of the world’s best protected wildlife refuge.

The biodiversity is varied - with mountain, prairies sample, lakes and tidal marshes… and home to some of the most endangered species in the world, including the red-crowned crane and the extremely rare, Siberian Tiger.

On the South Korean border of the DMZ, Happy Farm operates bee houses to cultivate wild honey.

The wild bees flourish in this area due to the abundance of Acacia Flowers that grow undisturbed in the DMZ.

This Acacia Honey is mixed with Korea-grown Yuja (Yuzu) to make a delicious tea marmalade.

Yuja Tea in popular in Korea during the colder months to help fight off colds and lingering symptoms.

The Yuja fruit itself contains powerful antioxidants like Vitamin C and Limonene - which help neutralize free radicals, fight cancer calls and boost immunity.

In this product, the entire Yuja fruit is used (including the rind which contains most of the vitamins and antioxidants).

Available in 500g jar.
