Top-Quality Dried Shrimp

[Ieosusan] 8x Screened, Dried Korean Shrimp (3 Types)

Today, we introduce Korean Dried Shrimp from Ieosusan.

Ieosusan is a regional fishery in Korea that has been harvesting premium anchovies, shrimp & seafood for over 40 years.

Each batch of shrimp is meticulously screened (8 times!) at Ieosusan to ensure that customers receive top-quality shrimp.

Take a look at the close-up photos - and you’ll see whole (in-tact) shrimp, with minimal breakage.

This starts with harvesting fresh, healthy shrimp! They are dried to just the right amount to preserve their texture, nutrition and shape.

How do I eat this?

In Korea, dried shrimp is often stir-fried with gochujang, chopped garlic scapes and a touch of sweetness to make a banchan called Mahlin Saewoo Bokkeum (마른새우볶음).

They can also be boiled with anchovy & kelp to make a deep-tasting Korean stock broth.

The mini-sized, dried shrimp can be sprinkled on as an umami, crunchy ingredient for fried rice, noodles and rice balls.

We offer 3 types of Premium Korean Dried Shrimp:

Dried Korean Flower Shrimp (군산 꽃새우)

  • Add this as an umami ingredient to stir-fried rice, noodles, etc.
  • Or boil it with dried anchovies & kelp to make stock broth
  • Sourced in the waters off Gusan, Korea
  • Size: 200g

Dried Korean Barley Shrimp (강화도 보리새우)
