[Kinto] Cafe Cup & Coaster
There's something about beauty... that invites pause.
After all, its human nature to gravitate towards beautiful things.
Today, we introduce Kinto's Signature Coffee Cup & Coaster.
We came across this cup while browsing through a Korean department store. The cup looked so inviting - just asking to be poured into. We cupped it a few times and soon enough, it was in our kitchen studio.
Look closely - and you'll see subtle design points. It it cut eight sides on the bottom (like an octagon) which gradually disappears into a smooth, circular rim. These octagon sides then also align with the subtle lines in the coaster.
It's plain but beautiful at the same time.
So where's it made? Kinto is a Japanese tableware and lifestyle brand that focuses on blending aesthetics with ease-of-use. It seems they have certainly achieved that with this signature coffee cup!
Note: We really like the overall size of this cup. It's just enough for a small coffee or tea in the morning - not oversized and having you overconsume!
If you are a coffee drinker, we recommend the black cup.
If you prefer tea, go with the white cup - so you can see the color of the tea!
