[Nothyang] Rectangular Yugi Plate

[Nothyang] Rectangular Yugi Plate

Plate Bulgogi, Grilled Fish or Tteokbokki!

[Nothyang] Rectangular Yugi Plate

We are very excited to introduce Nothyang to Gochujar!

Nothyang was distinguished as the #1 Top Winner in "2020 Korea Best Brands" for Yugi Brassware.

This is Nothyang's Signature Korean Rectangular Yugi Plate.

The Rectangular Yugi Plate is perfect for plating grilled fish, strips of Korean BBQ or even Bossam (boiled porks wraps). Perhaps even a few scoops of Tteokbokki & sliced Kimbap.

Place it at the middle of your table and ta-da ... the highlight of the night!

The corners of this yugi plate are smoothed and the sides are slanted upwards for a minimal yet modern feel.

What separates Korean Yugi (also known as Bangjja) from other brozenware is the alloy ratio between copper and tin. Yugi uses an exact ratio of 78% copper and 22% tin. This 22% ratio of tin is much higher than other brozenware, which is typically at a 1/9 ratio.

Because of this difference, Yugi bowls and plates have a beautiful, natural golden sheen that gets brighter over time (usage) - as well as self-sterilizing properties!

Yugi kills and prevents viruses, bacteria and microorganisms from growing on its surface. This is why Yugi was used to serve the Korean Royal Family and Court during the older days.

In recent years, Yugi has made a huge comeback in the modern Korean kitchen. It's back in vogue ... and become a popular gift for both newlyweds and solo-livers.

If you've started with a 1-Person Yugi Set, consider adding this signature rectangular piece to your collection!
